At Stitch Avenue, each garment starts with an inspection. We check the construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit you want before confirming the scope of the work.
Common requests include trouser and skirt hemming, waist and side-seam adjustment, sleeve-length adjustment, zipper replacement, and seam or lining repair. If matching thread, zippers, or other materials are needed, availability is confirmed before the work is approved.

Most everyday alteration and repair jobs are completed in a few business days, depending on the garment and workshop capacity. If any extra work becomes necessary, it is discussed and approved first.
When the garment is ready, we review the fit again at collection so any small final adjustment can be handled carefully without changing the agreed design.
